It was a really good course.  I found it really informative with a mixture of some things I already had an idea about (so this either confirmed or clarified my thoughts) and others that I was hearing for the first time.  The instructor (sorry I forget his name!) was very good, with lots of experience of different situations that he could pull on to explain or give examples of. He was also very open to questions whether personal to him or other experiences and I don’t think there was any questions he couldn’t answer – even with the delicate subject of suicide he was very understanding that anyone in the room could have experienced this in their own life and gave plenty of warning that it would be discussed and that we could sit out of the discussion if required.

All in all, even though there was the potential that it could be a “tricky” subject he made it interesting and enjoyable…..

We used the services of medical trainer Mr David Gwilliams on Tuesday 31st May 2016, to deliver an emergency first aid at work course on behalf of The Essential Training Organization Ltd at our premises in Redhill. We were extremely impressed with a number of things and will definitely be calling upon his services in the future, should they be required. Mr Gwilliams was very polite and pleasant, he was easy to correspond with during the booking process. He arrived at least 1 hour prior to the course commencement, his course materials were very good and up to date, his classroom management skill were impressive and he also showed the ability to work well on his own.

We always ensure that all student complete an anonymous feedback form upon completion of the course, he had comments such as “really took the time to explain everything in detail” “the trainer was very easy to understand” “really enjoyed the course, much better than previous first aid course”.

Brilliant delivery kept the group engaged. Not just worksheets, liked the variation in content – quiz, practical, theory and good feedback delivered well.

This was a brilliant course, I’m going to leave feeling confident in my ability as a First Aider, Dave made sure we were paying attention and kept us all involved, he was a brilliant teacher.

I’ve done numerous Emergency First Aid at Work courses with the likes of St John’s Ambulance, and The Red Cross, and have always found them informative but not necessarily memorable.

Having Kaill Training visit us this week has been brilliant though! The course leader David had a great sense of humor, which kept us all engaged and focused, while having the answer for every question we threw at him. Plenty of use of visual aids, pictures, videos, props and handouts really helped break the PowerPoint slide show up a bit.

Those of us on the 3-day course got the most from this, with examples of situations to do with our own working environment. The real icing on the cake was getting us to mock up full on emergency scenarios to do with our occupation for each other to resolve.

Lots of fun and cheaper than most other courses. With the added perks of personalisation and they even come to your workplace.

I will be using Kaill Training for all my team from now on.

I have just completed the EFAW with Kaill Training and loved it that much that I now want to atted the three day FAW. The instructor was fantastic and gave us all great confidence, the whole day was fun but very informative, at the start of the day I didn’t think I would be able to remember half of the information, but I can say that due to the way it was delivered, I have remembered nearly all of it.
