The Department of Education has announced that the current Level 2 Paediatric First Aid will be replaced with a new Level 3 qualification, there is still more conformation from the government before it goes live. They have also stated that anyone or any organisation can now deliver the First Aid training but it must be a monitored qualification i.e. On completion of the course you must gain a formal qualification that can be renewed in 3 years.
