Over the last few months we have been out meeting many new people and discussing their Health & Safety. It seems to be the general consensus that may smaller companies and some larger companies believe that Health & Safety at Work doesn’t apply to them.

After discussions with many of them they have now realised that they do have a legal obligation under the health, safety and welfare. This is great news as it proves that we are successfully getting the message across to all companies both small and large.

Below I have put some links from across the country of cases where company’s and Organisations have been prosecuted under the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974. Including one which has been prosecuted under new legislation making it possible for company’s to be prosecuted for Corporate Manslaughter.
